Final Farewell Assesmbly

Today was our Year 6 Prize Giving Assembly where we acknowledged the achievements of our Year 6 students and their ongoing contributions made to the school.

Congratulations to Eden and Jeremiah who both delivered their speeches with confidence and poise.  Their words were motivating and inspiring .

Eden also received an award and trophy for 'Outstanding Contribution' and Jeremiah received an award and trophy for 'Effort Brings Success'.  We also had Marnika receive an award and trophy for 'Leabank Excellence in Attitude'.

We had lots of proud family members adorning their children with lolly and flower leis.  It was such a heart warming day.

As a teacher it is always so great to see hard work pay off!

Camp At School

Nothing stands in the way of fun!

Cooking s'mores

Wet water fun at the pools

Fashion Parade

Day at the Rec Center

Animal antics at the Zoo

At the Zoo we saw lots of animals.  It got tiring walking around all day.  I saw a cheetah and it looked into my eyes.  It felt like I could reach out and touch it.

We went to the Recreation Center where we learnt lots of new skills.  I was disappointed that we didn't get to play soccer, but it was still lots of fun.  We got to participate in lots of games.

We made s'mores with 2 chocolate biscuits and a melted marshmallow.  We put the marshmallow on a stick and melted it over the fire.  I got marshmallow all over my clothes.

Everyone walked over to the pools where we got to swim on a very hot day.  Mr Maddren came to visit.  He bought us all hot chips and drinks.

Our Leaders

Everyone in Room 21 has been very lucky to have such wonderful students who are always there to help us when we need it.  As Young Leaders you have been super role models not only for the students in our class, but the whole school.  I am very proud of the way you have taken on the role and the way you have stepped up as leaders.  You have set a high standard for future Young Leaders. You have inspired others and you constantly inspire me.

Thank you for all your hard work!
